We have a newly created role for an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to join our IT team! Reporting to the Senior Manager - IT Operations, you will be responsible for coordinating the technical infrastructure elements of small and large IT projects, shoreside and shipboard. This includes ensuring the requirements, dependencies and implementation activities are accurately documented to assist with proper planning and in ensuring successful delivery and operational supportability.

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Effectively collaborating with internal and external IT and business stakeholders to accurately capture and document infrastructure requirements of IT projects.
- Working with the IT Operations team to define and document infrastructure design to meet the documented requirements
- Planning handover of solutions to operations capability, e.g. service desk, including documenting support responsibilities, and / or knowledgebase articles.
- Reviewing IT request and ticket queues for items to be actioned by IT Operations team and coordinating delivery of these against competing project priorities.
- Adhering to required change management processes and ensuring documentation and application artefacts are properly maintained
- Managing and tracking project changes, risks and issues through to resolution.
- Contributing to regular project reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
About you:
As this is a hands-on role, you will work across multiple projects thus have outstanding organisation, time management, attention to detail and the ability to be agile and pivot when new projects are prioritised. You will have a strong hand's on infrastructure and engineering experience in a server or systems or network engineering role with the ability to talk to and respond to technical questions with sound industry knowledge. You are a confident thinker, strong communication skills with the ability to build trust and a positive experience for all stakeholders. We would love to hear from people with:
- 5+ years' experience in an IT Operations or Infrastructure role, implementing and / or supporting solutions within a complex business environment.
- Technical knowledge across a range of different infrastructure disciplines, including server, network, endpoint, security, operating systems, hardware, protocols
- Experience in IT Infrastructure planning and development, including technical documentation.
- Ability to produce concise documentations with high attention to detail
- Working knowledge of project management disciplines
- Ability to engage IT and business stakeholders at various levels
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to negotiate outcomes in the context of competing priorities.
- Experience in implementing and or supporting systems, technology solutions and end users in remote sites and unusual environments.
- Strong levels of resilience, excellent prioritisation skills and a team-centric attitude
- Tertiary qualification in IT, Computer Science, Engineering and Project Management will be highly regarded
