Due to an exciting time in our team members life, we have an opportunity for a Customer Communications Coordinator to join the team on a 12-month maternity leave contract. Based in our Chatswood office, you will be responsible for the timely delivery of effective internal and external communications including guest impacting events; knowledge management; change projects and initiatives; and proactive communications (digital content for our website, app and virtual agent, emails, forms and other standard collateral and letters).

Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Ensure communication requirements are achieved in a timely manner
• Communicate and escalate communication issues and risks as appropriate.
• Regular reviews and updates of knowledge base content, including collateral and adhoc emergency/incident communications, policy/procedure and product information
• Provide updates to staff on key changes and important updates using appropriate channels, including newsletters, emails and team meeting presentations.
• In the event of a ship incident or customer impacting events, ensure timely and relevant details are provided to all frontline staff (including Sales BDMs) in an appropriate format.
• Review and provide feedback and ‘voice of the customer' input on key marketing collateral, tools and projects
• On call requirement and position forms part of our incident management response team if required

About you:

You have excellent communication skill and are an outgoing, confident, result driven, and resilient individual that loves working within a dynamic environment. Agility with strong attention to detail, you are a confident communicator who works across multiple stakeholders, competing deadlines and are comfortable offering ideas and solutions. With a willingness to learn new things, you thrive in a fast paced and dynamic environment always taking initiative to support business and team objectives. Aside from your fantastic communication, organisation and multi-tasking skills, you will have a strong work ethic and although you can work in a team, working autonomously is where you flourish. As part of a close-knit team, your outgoing personality and willingness to roll up your sleeves and get the work done will set you apart from your competitors.

We would love to hear from people with:

• 1 – 2 years in a Communication role or a Graduate looking for their next step
• Communication experience/exposure in public or private sector will be advantageous
• Strong relationship building and influencing skills
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a high attention to detail
• Responsys and Sitecore systems experience - desirable
• A high level of organisation and prioritisation skills with the ability to work in an autonomous manner
• A high degree of initiative and problem-solving skills and general administration skills
• Intermediate Excel, Word and PowerPoint
