Each cruise ship day turnaround involves large numbers of guests commencing and completing their cruise experience - time management and planning of the day's activities will involve high levels of forward planning. Reporting to the Manager, Guest Logistics this role will play a key component in ensuring the cruise day operation runs successfully. Duties may include but not be limited to:

 

Logistics

  • Turnaround Logistics planning for all HA Group ships - involves the planning of turnaround day operations where guests embark and disembark their cruise in any of our homeports in Australia and NZ.
  • Coordinating transfer program to/from the airport / hotels (pre & post cruise),
  • Working with the appointed Ground Handler in each port to support and assist the planning of guest logistics operations
  • Travelling to home ports to observe operations when ships are disembarking and embarking guests
  • Assist in the planning of delay recovery plans

Administration

  • Processing all invoices
  • Updating financial and administration planning databases
  • Creating Logistics manuals for each ship/port

Customer Service

  • Answering internal pre cruise questions in relation to embarkation and disembarkation
  • Assist with post cruise queries from Customer Relations
  • Developing relationships with key stakeholders within the business ie Ship Administration departments, Customer Service and Port Operations teams, Ground Handlers and Port Agents
