Dually reporting to the Vice President, Casino Operations, Carnival Corporate and plc (Miami) and the Director, Onboard Revenue, P&O Cruises (Australia), and with a team of casino marketing and operational professionals, the Director, Casino Operations will manage the company's gaming operations and gaming marketing strategy across multiple cruise brands in ANZ and Asia and, in collaboration with the Miami team, evolve and execute the strategic plan for all brands in this region. 

The incumbent will have full P&L responsibility and will focus on maximising profitability from the existing gaming operations, along with testing new products and other revenue initiatives, while ensuring the consistent delivery of an exceptional guest experience. The Director Casino Operations will also identify, create and lead acquisition and retention marketing opportunities, both within the brands, and with external casino partners. This position will be the point of contact for all gaming-related communication with each brand in this region and the interface with Global Casino Operations in Miami.  

We seek applications from people with 10+ years of senior marketing and commercial experience, preferably gained within a casino environment. Our ideal candidate will bring:

  • exceptional financial, numerical and analytical skills, with experience managing a sizeable P&L
  • the proven ability to drive strategic change, bringing all stakeholders along on the journey
  • experience developing, implementing and measuring the success of highly successful marketing acquisition, retention and reactivation programs; a strong understanding of data driven direct marketing
  • experience developing new casino product and enhancing existing product
  • a commitment to delivering excellent customer experience
  • very strong interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills; a collaborative approach to making things happen
  • exceptional people management and leadership skills; the ability to cultivate motivation amongst the team
  • a huge amount of drive, enthusiasm, adaptability and resourcefulness.
