Reporting to the Director, People and Performance, the Talent Acquisition Manager role offers the opportunity to broaden your HR experience beyond the typical Talent Acquisiton scope. You will be responsible for managing end to end recruitment activity for our Chatswood HQ,  as well as driving the strategic direction of Carnival Australia's shore side talent function.

In addition, the right candidate will have the opportunity to further develop broader HR skills through a variety of HR project work. 

 

The successful candidate will be tasked with developing an understanding of our dynamic business and building super strong relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders. Specific responsibilities will include:

 

  • providing end to end recruitment services
  • own recruitment tools, processes and policies and direct all recruitment activities to ensure we attract and secure the best talent in a timely and cost effective manner
  • develop and manage the delivery of Carnival Australia's shore side Talent Acquisition strategy
  • the delivery and implementation of strategic People & Performance projects
  • manage and enhance employee on boarding experience
  • continue to build and drive exposure to our employer brand
  • develop and implement social media strategy
  • enhance accessibility to data; set, measure and regularly report against metrics
  • own and continue to build upon effectiveness of existing recruitment technology
  • lead, coach and manage the Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant

 

We would love to hear from people with 4 - 5 years' full cycle recruitment experience (ideally combining agency and corporate in house to a management level) with:

 

  • solid experience across all attraction methods and techniques – including social media and networking
  • an intuitive ‘recruiter's gut' in identifying potential talent / business fit
  • the desire to own projects end to end and drive continous improvement 
  • experience leading, mentoring and developing direct reports
  • experience delivering an increase in employer brand engagement
  • social media and digital tech smarts
  • strong knowledge of ATSs, including the demonstrated ability to enhance functionality/automation and rolling out new systems (Project Management)
  • financial management experience and numerical, analytical, reporting skills (ie be data driven)
  • an adaptable nature suited to working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment – jumping between strategy and tactical as per business requirements
  • strong communication, interpersonal, relationship building, consulting, negotiation and influencing skills (ie able to influence outcomes relating to recruitment)
